The stage is set, the nations have arrived, and we’re gearing up for the long-awaited FIP World Cup European Qualifiers.
With just a couple of days to go until the start of the FIP World Cup Qualifiers, here’s everything you need to know about the tournament from what the schedule is, to who is representing Great Britain and how you can follow along with the action at home.
When is the FIP World Cup Qualifiers?
The FIP World Cup European Qualifiers will take place between 22-26 September 2026.
Where is the FIP World Cup Qualifiers being held?
The European qualification tournament is being staged at Padel G24 club in Madrid.
The club boasts 17 indoor padel courts – providing the perfect venue to welcome the 55 national teams who will be bidding for a place in the FIP World Cup in November.
What is the schedule for the FIP World Cup Qualifiers?
The schedule will be updated after the draw on Monday 21 September.
What is the format for the FIP World Cup Qualifiers?
Ten men's and 10 women's teams have already qualified for November's FIP World Cup based on their results at last year's event.
The remaining six spots will be decided through four continental qualifying events across Europe, North & Central America, South America, and Asia-Africa. After the North & Central America and South America qualifiers, 13 teams in each competition will be confirmed.
The final three places will then be awarded through the European qualifiers (two spots) and the Asia-Africa qualifier (one spot) in both the men's and women's draws.

Who will be competing for Great Britain at the FIP World Cup Qualifiers?
Women’s team
The British women’s team – who will be captained by former world No.1 and LTA International Performance Coach Iciar Montes and Libby Fletcher – boasts great strength and will be hoping to secure their qualification with victory in Madrid.
The team will be spearheaded by British No.1 Aimee Gibson and British No.2 Catherine Rose, who have both cemented their places inside the world’s top 100.
Between the two of them, they have lifted four FIP titles already this year and joined forces as wild card entrants to the inaugural London Premier Padel P1 event in August where they narrowly missed out on their first victory.
They’ll be joined by British No.3 Tia Norton, top 200 star Lisa Phillips, Abigail Tordoff, Laura Jackson, Victoria Nicholas and 16-year-old Chloe De La Mare who has received her first senior international call-up.
Men’s team
John Leech and Augustin Silingo will captain the British men’s team in Madrid, with long-term British No.1 Christian Medina Murphy will lead British hopes in the men’s competition.
The 28-year-old won the FIP Bronze San Juan de Alicante back in July and also reached the second round of the London Premier Padel P1 event last month. With plenty of experience on the international stage, Medina Murphy will be a pivotal figure in the Brits’ hopes of reaching the Finals in November.
Also linking up with the British men is fellow London Premier Padel wild cards, British No.2 Louie Harris, Theo Garton, Chris Salisbury and Alfonso Patacho. Meanwhile, British No.3 Alex Loughlan also joins the line-up alongside Jamie Lobo and Sam Jones.
Who are the reigning FIP World Cup champions?
The reigning women's world champions are Spain, who lifted the title at the 2024 FIP World Padel Championships in Qatar after another memorable final against rivals Argentina. Italy came third in the tournament.
On the men's side, Argentina claimed the FIP World Cup title. Spain finished as runners-up, while Portugal secured third place.
