Hollywood star Lily James swapped the red carpet for the padel court as she was put through her paces with a lesson from GB star and LTA Accredited Coach, Laura Jackson.
Lily and Laura worked through all the basics – from brilliant backhands to hitting off the wall and dominating with volleys at the net.

Lily’s love for padel extends beyond playing on the court – she’s also the Global Ambassador for Connect Padel UK, a padel operator founded by her brother Charlie Thomson.
Connect Padel UK recently opened their first padel club in Birmingham and has partnered with the LTA to offer 1,000 free hours of court time per year to schools and charities.
The organisation’s pledge to make padel “more accessible, affordable, engaging and social for players of all levels” chimes with the LTA's 'Padel Opened Up' vision, which focuses on increasing participation and accessibility.
