• 3 minutes read
We have today released the Padel Performance Competitions Calendar for 2026, which will provide enhanced opportunities for British players on home soil.
In 2026, British players, including juniors, open, and seniors, will have 35 weeks of international and domestic playing opportunities to earn valuable prize money and ranking points.
This includes five FIP Tour events, seven LTA Padel British Tour Grade 1 events, 21 LTA British Padel Tour Grade 2 events, and three FIP Promises tournaments for aspiring juniors.
London will also host Britain’s first-ever Premier Padel event later this year in August, marking a pivotal moment for professional padel’s international expansion to the UK.
2026’s Padel Performance Competitions Calendar has grown since last year’s, providing more playing opportunities for British padel players. In 2025, the LTA hosted four FIP international events, two bronze and two silver. This year, it has increased to five, one bronze and four silver.
The FIP Tour is the first stage of the professional padel circuit, with four different levels of events, bronze, silver, gold and platinum.
LTA Performance Competitions Calendar 2026 event breakdown
- Five FIP Tour tournaments (four FIP Silver and one FIP Bronze)
- Seven LTA British Padel Tour Grade 1 tournaments
- 21 LTA British Padel Tour Grade 2 tournaments
- Three FIP Promises tournaments

As part of our Padel Performance Competitions Calendar, the LTA Padel British Tour provides enhanced opportunities for British players at each age and stage of the performance player pathway. With events taking place across the year at venues all over the country, the LTA Padel British Tour is the place for top players to hone their skills before stepping up to the professional game.
This year marks the first time the FIP Tour and LTA Padel British Tour will stage competitions across all the home nations, with tournaments in England Scotland and Wales. This milestone development highlights our continued commitment to delivering a truly national calendar of events, achieved through a strong geographical spread and an expanding network of operators and venues capable of hosting high-level competition.
Following a competitive application process, this year we received more applications than ever before, ensuring that only venues meeting the highest standards were selected to host tournaments.
In 2026, junior players will have 16 weeks of FIP and British Tour Grade 1 and Grade 2 events. Three FIP Promises tournaments, will be hosted across Great Britain as part of the international junior padel circuit. This is part of the our commitment to support junior players as the number of under 18s playing padel continues to rise. These high-profile international events give British juniors the chance to compete for FIP ranking points within their age categories.
This year, senior players will have more than 20 weeks of competition, with four LTA Padel British Tour Grade 1 events and 17 LTA British Padel Tour Grade 2 tournaments taking place across Great Britain.
The LTA Padel British Tour encompasses the top padel competitions in Great Britain. The very best players from across GB compete in standout events, over full weekends, for prize money. Acceptance onto the LTA Padel British Tour events is based on players' LTA Padel Ranking.

The LTA Padel National Championships is set to return in 2026, with the location to be confirmed later this year. The tournament highlights the best of today’s British padel talent while showcasing emerging players, reflecting the sport’s rapid growth and rising popularity. Offering prize money and valuable LTA ranking points, it attracts top competitors across multiple categories.
From 3-9 August, The Qatar Airways Premier Padel Tour will come to London marking a pivotal moment for professional padel’s international expansion to Great Britain. Staged as a P1 tournament, the second-highest tier on the Premier Padel circuit below the Majors, the London event will see the world’s elite men’s and women’s players playing professionally in one of the world’s most iconic sporting cities for the first time.
Tom Murray, LTA’s Head of Padel said: “We are incredibly proud to unveil the 2026 LTA Padel Performance Competitions Calendar, our most ambitious and comprehensive performance calendar to date. With 35 weeks of domestic and international competition, culminating in the first ever Premier Padel event, and including expanded LTA British Padel Tour events for open and seniors, five FIP tour events, and an increased number of FIP Promises for juniors, we are creating more playing opportunities than ever before for British players to compete and earn ranking points on home soil.
"This calendar is designed to support players at every stage of the performance pathway, from aspiring juniors through to our top open and senior athletes, providing them with high-quality competition, prize money, and a pathway into the international circuit. It represents a major step forward for British padel and underlines our long-term commitment to growing the sport and developing world-class players.”
